Expect eye-popping color tonight at Lower Pottsgrove Elementary.
POTTSTOWN PA – Tonight’s (Friday, Nov. 13, 2009) Family Fun Night performance at Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School won’t be what was originally planned, but organizers are willing to bet families that attend will have a blast nonetheless.
- This event has been added to The Post calendar.
The night’s entertainment, presented by the Lower Pottsgrove Parent-Teacher Organization for the school’s students and their families, was to have featured Chinese acrobats. They are unable to perform as scheduled, the PTO alerted members Thursday afternoon in an e-mail. In their place, the PTO will offer a 45-minute laser light show, accompanied by music and presented by Prismatic Magic.
Doors to the school’s lobby, 1329 Buchert Rd., Pottstown PA, will open tonight at 6:30, for light refreshments and conversations. The “dazzling” show is set to begin promptly at 7:15 p.m. Audience members are advised to bring a blanket or beach towel with them for comfortable seating on the floor of the school gym, in which the show will be held.
Family Fun Night marks the end of the school’s first trimester marking period. Report cards (shudder!) for the period will be distributed during parent-teacher conferences scheduled for Nov. 23 and 24 (2009; Monday and Tuesday) at the school. The entertainment also precedes the school’s observance next week of American Education Week.
