NORRISTOWN PA – Michael McGroarty, of Foxtail Drive, Pottstown PA, and James Kaiser, of Deer Ridge Drive, handily won election as Lower Pottsgrove (PA) Township commissioners Tuesday night, according to unofficial 2009 general election results posted at 12:32 a.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2009) by the Montgomery County (PA) Board of Elections. The third and losing candidate in the race for two available seats was James Prendergast.

Uncontested incumbent tax collector and Treasurer Jennifer Marsteller was re-elected. Incoming and unopposed Magisterial District 38-1-12 Justice Edward C. Kropp also won election; the district includes the township, and its courtroom and offices are in Sanatoga.
