LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – The top price paid for a home within the township from May 25-29, 2009, was $265,000, the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper reports.

The home is located at 80 Pebble Beach Ln. A second home, at 2130 Foxtail Dr., sold for $235,000. A third, at 2039 N. Pleasant View Rd., went for $195,000. A fourth, at 947 Maple Glen Cir., sold for $105,000; an a fifth, at 52 Walnut Ridge Estates, went for $87,500.

This week’s top reported prices were listed Sunday (Aug. 9, 2009) in “The Top 50,” the newspaper’s weekly review of highest prices paid for homes sold within the city of Philadelphia and the townships in its surrounding counties.

By contrast, during the same period, the top home sales price in Pottstown PA Borough, immediately to the west was $80,000; Limerick PA Township, east, $256,000; New Hanover PA Township, northeast, $399,900; Upper Pottsgrove PA Township, west, $260,500; and in North Coventry PA Township, south, none listed.
