BOYERTOWN PA – The Boyertown Farmers Market reopens Saturday (June 6, 2009) for its 2009 season, and will operate every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 31 (2009; Saturday) at 100 S. Walnut St.

The market intends to unite local farmers and the community by providing delicious, healthy, nutritious food, and preserving agricultural resources, organizers say. Its farmer-vendors offer a selection of produce, beef, poultry, and baked goods.

The market is located in the parking lot of The Boyertown Museum of Historic Vehicles, two blocks south of the intersection of Routes 562 and 73.

Visitors can keep abreast of what’s happening at the market each week, obtain seasonal recipes, and get in-depth interviews with area farmers and educational information by subscribing to the market’s e-mail newsletter.
