Stephan Kincaid.
POTTSTOWN PA – Stephan Kincaid, the Pottsgrove Middle School guidance counselor who allowed himself to be duct-taped to a cafeteria wall during March to benefit a charitable cause, will be honored Friday (May 8, 2009) as the Montgomery County (PA) Counselors Association’s “Counselor of the Year.”
Kincaid’s award will be presented during the association’s annual spring luncheon at Justin’s Carriage House Restaurant in Skippack PA, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The association annually selects counselors from public and private schools, and county counseling agencies, as award recipients. Kincaid was nominated by fellow Middle School guidance counselor Cristina Kleinfelter.
Kincaid selection was announced last week by Middle School Principal William Ziegler, and again Tuesday (May 5, 2009) in a statement by district spokesman Beth Trapani.
