LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Top prices for homes sold within the township from Sept. 8-12, 2008, climbed into the mid-$300s for a second consecutive week, the Philadelphia Inquirer newspaper reports.
The homes – at 106 Continental Dr., which sold for $345,000; 1695 N. Keim St., $286,000; and 1792 N. Charlotte St., $220,000 – were listed Sunday (Dec. 28, 2008) in “The Top 50,” the newspaper’s weekly review of highest prices paid for homes sold within the city of Philadelphia and the townships in its surrounding counties.
By contrast, during the same period, the top home sales price in Pottstown Borough, immediately to the west was $182,500; Limerick Township, east, $185,000; New Hanover Township, northeast, $420,000; Upper Pottsgrove Township, northwest, $239,678; and North Coventry Township, south, $615,000.
