Barbecued chicken is featured on the menu this Saturday (Sept. 20, 2008), as the Sanatoga Fire Company presents its annual fall fund-raiser. Its twice-yearly feast starts at 3:30 p.m., ends at 6, and includes a half-chicken, baked potato, baked beans, cole slaw, rolls, ice cream and a beverage for those who dine at the firehouse, 2222 E. High St., Sanatoga PA.
Firefighters recommend buying tickets for the event earlier during the day. Forewarned is forearmed: the spring dinner was a sell-out. Proceeds benefit the fire company.
